Other than the 'quote some text' function, everything seems to work. Perhaps this was disabled on purpose?

I think it's working... for me.

BB, try pasting your excerpted text into notepad, then cutting and pasting from there into the editor box.

I did as suggested. I put the quotes in Wordpad first, then cut and paste here. This happened one other time as I recall.

I tried the above using both Word and Wordpad. It did not work so I deleted the thread I started that only wound up blank. Any other suggestions.

I would try notepad. Wordpad and word both inject formatting.

Failing that, I'd try another browser.

Quote:
this is some formatted wordpad text

Quote:
this is some unformatted notepad text

They both appear to work for me with google chrome v31.0

I tried Notepad as well. There was something about including the first paragraph, even that paragraph by itself, with or without quoting, that GHT would not take. I just hope it was a quirk, not a constant problem.

The quote function is working for me as well. Like LJ, I use Chrome.

Just tried this again, in Chrome, using Notepad. It didn't work. Time to start updating Adobe, etc.

If a different browser doesn't work, I don't know what to suggest. I'm sure you already know to do a thorough virus and malware scan, right? Have you loaded any new programs or done any other changes to your system recently? Will quotes work if you go back to a prior setpoint?
