What's she holding up?

Description

This is the War Memorial outside the state capitol in Olympia--funny thing is, I don't know what that is that Lady Liberty is holding up, but from this angle it looks like a little dude sitting on a toilet. Shot with my digital Leica.

From what I've heard, that's the goddess Nike, but it certainly looks like a guy's face! Apparently goddesses didn't need to look like women in mythological times. LOL!
